We are delighted to share this update that the team Ekjut progressed by another milestone in adding its geographical reach to the Chhattishgarh state of India. The first “Laika Ghar” (crèche) opened today on 26th December 2023 at Putrichoura village of Jashpur block of Chhattishgarh. Smt. Supriya Kerketta, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) inaugurated the crèche in the presence of all key service providers i.e. Anganwadi Sevikas, ASHAs, Parents, and Ms Jyotishman, Mr. Yusuf Prakash from Azim Premji Foundation. This vital work with young children is being supported by the Azim Premji Foundation. We will establish 40 creches in Jashpur block in Chhattisgarh State with the help of the foundation.
